JESUS TO THE RESCUE!

Have you ever experienced a time in your life where you were rescued from an accident, danger, even death?  Think about some of the ‘close calls’ in your life; perhaps when you were a child, or maybe just yesterday … where you were moved out of ‘harm’s way’,  rescued by an unexplainable source?   I believe the Source of our being saved/rescued from the close calls in life lies in Jesus.  Even so, we must know that eventually, our life on this earth will end.  So, let me ask you, if you were to die today, do you know where you would spend eternity - heaven or hell?  Being good or even going to church doesn’t guarantee you a place in heaven.  We are saved by one thing…our relationship with Jesus.  The Bible says “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”  May your Source in being saved/rescued from certain eternal death be Jesus.

Discouragement - Satan's Tool (Part 2)

A Heart for the Kingdom - Pamela Johnson - Rapid City, SD - Christian Womans MinistryDo you ever find yourself afraid?  I believe most of us do.  Do you realize that the enemy, Satan, will use our fears to open the door to many tools he will use to try and keep us confused, disappointed, discouraged and disheartened?  He is a liar and a deceiver – it is important to know your enemy and his tactics as well as knowing the One who delivers you from evil.  Join me and my guests as we share those places in our lives where the enemy has stepped in to disrupt and try to destroy our lives.

In the Dark Places (Part 2)

A Heart for the Kingdom - Pamela Johnson - Rapid City, SD - Christian Womens MinistryI believe we experience dark places in our life.  There are times when we are depressed, feeling sad and lonely.  So, where are your dark places?  Are you depressed? Going through a difficult time? Discouraged? Frustrated?  Hurting in those dark places?  We usually do – be reminded that God’s word says never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.  The dark places are but for a season…you decide how long you will stay.  Join me and my guests for today’s sharing.

This Episode's Kingdom Truth:

Isaiah 42:16
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.

Ps 107: 13-15
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for men.
