HOW TO BECOME A CHRISTIAN
Would you like to begin life over again?
Is your life not going the way you had planned?
Discouraged and feel like giving up?
Do you feel abandoned, like no one seems to care or understand?
There is Someone who cares and understands…and He loves
you.
It doesn’t matter what you have done in your life, what your
past may be.
God is personally interested in you….He cares what happens
to you.
He wants you to know Him in a personal way.
He loves you.
Becoming a Christian is as easy as A-B-C!
A -- Admit you are a sinner…
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
B -- Believe Christ died for your sin…
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
C -- Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and repent from your
sin…
"For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans
10:13
"...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your
heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the
heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation." Romans 10:9,10
Now that you understand who Jesus Christ is and what He did for you…you
can receive Him as your Savior and Lord.
SALVATION PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus,
I believe you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross for me,
to pay the penalty for my sin.
Please come into my life, forgive me of my sin and make me a member of
Your family.
I turn from going my own way and I want You to be the
center of my life.
Thank you for the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus. Thank you
for your Holy Spirit who has come to live in me.
I ask this in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
CONGRATULATIONS!
