Sisters

We are as close
As two sisters can be
Sent by God
From you to me

We’ve been there together for

each other
Thru good and bad times
Relying on each other
To be there every time

When I think
On the past
The fun times we had
A smile comes upon my face
My heart – so glad

We’ve grown closer
With each passing year
Being there for each other

I ASK THE LORD TO BLESS YOU, AS I PRAY FOR YOU TODAY; TO GUIDE YOU AND PROTECT YOU, AS YOU GO ALONG YOUR WAY.  GOD’S LOVE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU, GOD’S PROMISES ARE TRUE. AND WHEN YOU GIVE GOD ALL YOUR CARES, YOU KNOW GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH.

 1 CUP OF GOOD THOUGHTS
2 CUPS OF SACRIFICE FOR OTHERS
1 CUP OF KIND DEEDS
3 CUPS OF FORGIVENESS
2 CUPS OF WELL-BEATEN FAULTS

MIX THOROUGHLY AND ADD TEARS OF JOY AND SORROW, MIXED WITH SYMPATHY FOR OTHERS.

FOLD IN ONE CUP OF PRAYER AND FAITH TO LIGHTEN THE OTHER INGREDIENTS AND RAISE THE TEXTURE TO GREAT HEIGHTS OF CHRISTIAN LIVING.

AFTER POURING ALL THIS INTO YOUR DAILY LIFE, BAKE WELL WITH THE HEAT OF HUMAN KINDNESS

SERVE WITH A WONDERFUL SMILE.  

GOD LOVES YOU….

I WOULD RATHER LIVE MY LIFE AS IF THERE IS A GOD AND DIE TO FIND OUT THERE ISN’T, THAN LIVE MY LIFE AS IF THERE ISN’T AND DIE TO FIND OUT THERE IS.

St. Theresa’s Prayer:

May today there be peace within. 

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

in whatever it is that you know they may need this day!
And may their life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have a closer relationship with you. Amen.

The Mansion

Although limited by what
We have come to expect
Of things learned
Within the confines of our intellect
Trying always to Quantify
Things by dimension
There are many rooms
Not just one in the mansion
So listen to the call
From beyond the door
Take wisdoms lantern
And dare to explore
Step out of the dark
And into the light
And feast in the hall
Of multisensory delight
Taste the succulent fruit
Of the spiritual tree
And wrap yourself
In the shroud of tranquility
For few know
Of this place of silent retreat
Living life too loudly spiritually incomplete

Through the Pain

There Is A Kind Of Pain
That’s Deep Inside
 I Don’t Let Anyone See,
It’s Where I Hide

 I Know It Isn’t Right
But What Can I Do
No One Can Know
What Pain I’m Going Through

Then I Heard A Voice
 It Called Me By Name
 It Was My Lord
Saying Stop The Blame

 I Let The Pain Go
 It Poured Out Of Me
 I Gave It To Jesus
Now I Am Free

So Trust In The Lord
To Hear His Call
We’re Not Alone
 He Knows It All

Hiding in Plain Sight

There is a  Place
I’m Sure We All Have Been
We Want to Run Away
Or Hide Again and Again

When We Are Faced with Something
We Don’t Want to go There…
The Frustration That We Feel
With Anger and Despair

We Come Up With Ideas
To Avoid the Pain
To Pretend it Doesn’t Exist
Or Find Someone to Blame

So Where Do You Hide
In the Broad Daylight?
You Are Not Alone
Many Hide in Plain Sight.

To Know You’re Not Alone
Gives Comfort Inside
To Trust in the Lord
In Jesus, We Abide

So, Come Out of Your Hiding Place
And Let Him In
Let Freedom and Peace
Make You New Again!

Give God the Glory

What do you want to be
When you grow up?
A doctor, a lawyer
Someone we lift up.

The question we are asked
Of what  we should be?
Many do it for the right
To say, “That’s me!”

But is it really you
Where the glory should go?
The enemy in this world
Wants you to think so.

Life’s not about fame
Or how much money you make
It’s about Jesus
And the life you make.

In all that you do
Give glory to God
When you look at it
God gave you that job.
